2014 WSOP Event #18 $10,000 Seven Card Razz Championship

George Danzer will be enjoying his journey back to Germany with at least one WSOP gold championship bracelet and $294,792 in his pocket.  After having made eight WSOP final tables and cashed in ten events Danzer finally has a WSOP bracelet and a championship.

WSOP event #18 was the first $10K buy-in razz tournament ever on the schedule and attracted a crowd of 112 entrants, mostly pros.  A prize pool of $1,052,800 was offered to the top 16 finishers which included well known professional poker players Daniel Negreanu, Hoyt Corkins, Nick Schulman, and David Bach.

When the final table was down to the final two head-up players it was George Danzer facing chip leader and 2014 WSOP event #3 champion, Brandon Shack-Harris.  The two traded the lead stack until  George Danzer begin to pull away and finally had an 8-1 chip advantage.  After that Danzer went on cruise control and within a few hands had all the chips and the championship.

Brandon Shack-Harris will be adding $182,155 to his previous winnings in event #3 after his runner-up finish in today's Seven Card Razz Championship
