2014 WSOP Event #3 $1,000 Pot-Limit Omaha

Brandon Shack-HarrisWorld Series of Poker Event #3, $1,000 buy-in Pot-Limit Omaha, crowned Brandon Shack-Harris after he defeated a record sized field.  A record setting field of 1,128 entrants made this the largest event field that wasn't No Limit Hold'em in World Series of Poker history  Offering a massive prize pool of $1,015,200 for a $1,000 buy-in event and with $205,634 going to the winner, winner Shack-Harris will be smiling all the way to the bank.  The event paid the top 117 finishers.

While not a household name yet, Brandon Shack-Harris, a Chicago area native, had some well known poker pros on the rail. Seen cheering on the eventual winner were Chance Kornuth, Scott Servier and aspiring poker superstar, Vanessa Selbst.

Following a lengthy heads-up session, Brandon Shack-Harris prevailed and defeated second place finisher Morgan Popham.

The large field had a number of well known poker stars scattered through the crowd.  Topping the VIP list was former WSOP Main Event champion Huck Seed, bracelet winner Mitch Schock, Leif Force and poker's own Unabomber and hooded sweatshirt marketeer, Phil Laak

  9. Nick Guagenti ------------  $14,469

Congratulations to Brandon Shack-Harris for the win and his first WSOP gold bracelet.
